Do I need a printer?
Yes. A color printer works best, but a black and white laser printer should work okay.
What if I do not have a printer?
Many office supply stores (Staples, OfficeMax, Office Depot, FexEx Kinkos) have the ability to print the Adobe PDF you receive once payment is complete. Your local library may have a printer as well. Simply download your order, transfer it a USB flash drive, and bring it to the location of your choosing.
Do I need a specific type of computer or operating system such as Windows, or Mac OSX?
A specific type of computer or operating system is not usually needed. In all likelihood, the computer you are using right now will work just fine.
Will I receive unsolicited emails or postal mail?
We value your privacy. You will not receive any unsolicited email or postal mail, nor will we sell your contact information to any 3rd parties. However, note that when you sign up for an account, you may optionally subscribe to our e-newsletter. Also, when you place an order you may optionally receive an order confirmation email. Similarly, if you request us to send your password via email, you will indeed receive an email. Visit our Privacy Guarantee page for more details.
When do I receive my order?
You will be able to download your order as soon as you've completed the payment process. Payments with credit cards are processed instantly, while other forms of payment (such as an E-check) may take longer.
Once I download my love coupon order, what do I do with it?
Your love coupon order will be downloaded as an Adobe PDF file. Most computers can automatically open these types of files without installing additional software. If you have trouble opening the file, you can download Adobe Acrobat Reader for free from Adobe's site. Once you open the file, simply print it and use scissors to trim the coupons to size.
What happens if I lose the file associated with my order?
You can re-download your love coupon order for up to 24 months from time of purchase by logging into your account area.
What if I don't like the way I customized my love coupons or have made a mistake in the process?
Although you can always re-download your love coupon order for up to 24 months, you additionally have 3 days to modify your coupons after purchase (It is unlikely, yet these numbers are subject to change). This unique feature enables you to log in to your account area, select your recent order, and use the site to adjust the various elements on the coupons (like the Recipient Name in the case of a typo, or the background selection). Note that you cannot select other new love coupons. This is a great way to feel comfortable about your purchase.
Can you print and ship my order to me?
No. We are not currently offering this service. However, if you are interested, please let us know by contacting us so that we may consider this service in the future. FedEx offers an online print and delivery service though we haven't tried it so we cannot recommend it.
How many copies of my coupons can I print?
As many as you'd like for yourself and your lover.
Can I put more than one of the same coupon in my cart?
Yes you may. However, this situation counts as an additional item in your cart. Note that the only reason you'd do this is to customize the same coupon with a different selected option (since you may print as many copies of the coupon for your lover according to our license agreement.)
Do I have to make all my coupons at once or can I come back later and add more?
Our website is designed to remember the items in your cart so you can take as much time as you need to create your order (assuming you don't clear your browser "cookies" and you are using the same computer). However, all your love coupons must be in your cart before you complete the checkout and payment process (you cannot add more after you pay). If you intend to create your coupons over the course of a few sessions (or are using a public computer), we recommend creating a free account. If you return at a later time, you can log in, select your unfinished order from your My Account page and continue creating. By signing up for a free account, you can also adjust your order from multiple computers (e.g. home / work).
Can I pay for my love coupon order on one computer and print them on another?
Yes. Once you pay, you can either download the Adobe PDF file and transfer it (via USB Flash drive, CD, email, etc) to another computer for printing (e.g. Home, Work or most any office supply store, some libraries) or login to your account from the different machine to download it and print from there. The other computer must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.
Can I resell or use the love coupons in a printed publication, or online?

How should I set up my account?
Visit the My Account page to set up an account. For security reasons, we highly recommend that your website credentials (minimally, password) is not shared among any other of your internet website accounts (e.g. Facebook, PayPal, email, etc)
How do I upload my personal photos to use as a coupon background?
- Register for a free account and/or login.
- From the top navigation My Account menu, choose the My Photo option.
- On your My Photos page, click upload more images link within the text.
- Then, follow the on screen instructions. Essentially, you'll be able to browse the folders and images on your computer to select 1 or more images to upload.
- After uploading, you must "ready" each photos for use as a background using the easy-to-use cropping tool to select what portion of the image you'd like to use as the background. Navigate to the My Photos page again and click on the photo(s) you'd like to crop.
- After cropping the photos, you may navigate to any coupon (whether new or in your cart) and use the Background Picker to select a photo from the "Your Photos" tab.
How are personal pronouns within the "fine print" on the love coupon chosen?
The "fine print" on the coupon is customized based on the gender of the recipient and the various selections the "giver" chooses during the customization. Essentially, if the recipient is male, personal pronouns of (her/she) are used to describe the giver. Conversely, if the recipient is female, personal pronouns of (him/he) are used to describe the giver. Of course, the recipient and giver name are inserted in various spots too.
Do I need to "preview" each love coupon before adding it to my cart?
No. You do not need to preview each coupon before adding it to the shopping cart.
Can I adjust the wording I see within various dropdown list boxes?
Not exactly. However, many of our coupons can be customized further using the "Create My Own From This" button on the coupon configuration screen. This creates a fully customizable coupon that is based on one of our templates.
Printing Tips and Recommendations
What type of paper do you recommend for printing my coupons on?
Normal white paper should work fine, but for best presentation results, we recommend that you use a heavier-than-normal stock paper easily obtainable from any office supply store. However, you should consult your printer's user manual to be sure your printer can utilize the heavier stock paper without an issue. Note that some laser printers have trouble printing to heavier stock or linen-textured paper.
How much paper do I need?
There are six coupons per 8.5 x 11 inch (US Letter) page.
What if my inkjet printer is low on ink?
When customizing your coupons, you can select the "No Background" option to reduce the use of ink.
What settings should I use to print my love coupons?
From your PDF reader software, you should use the "Print Setup" menu choice to select the highest quality settings for your printer. Note that on a typical inkjet printer, the high settings will require significantly more time to print per page, (so you'll want to schedule some time when your lover isn't around.)
Can I printer the coupons larger?
Yes. After you order, you can use the "Print Options" feature accessible from your "My Account" page to print 3 coupons per 8.5 x 11 inch (US Letter) page, v.s. the normal 6. The coupons are sized much larger.
I don't like the scissors icon on the coupons, can I remove it?
Yes. After you order, you can use the "Print Options" feature accessible from your "My Account" page to print your coupons without the scissors icon on the lower coupon border.
Can I adjust the "LOVER COUPON" text in the upper-left red box on the coupon?
Yes. After you order, you can use the "Print Options" feature accessible from your "My Account" page to adjust the text in the red box.
Can I remove the red heart overlay on the right side of the coupon?
Yes. After you order, you can use the "Print Options" feature accessible from your "My Account" page to print the coupons without the red heart overlay.
I can't download and/or open the PDF successfully. Help!
If you cannot click on your order's download link on your "My Account" page to open the coupon PDF successfully, it could be because of a internet browser issue. As a workaround, right-click on the download link and choose "Save Link As..." (or something similar depending on your browser) to save the PDF to your computer's hard drive. Then, once downloaded, open it by double clicking on it. If you are on a mac, you can right-click by using the CTRL key (read here for more instructions on how to right-click on a mac).
My printout doesn't look right. Help!
Ensure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader and are using it to open and print it. Also, be sure to have the latest printer drivers installed.
